Andrew Dawes, Lakes Hub Information and Administration Officer attended the flag raising ceremony and celebrations for NAIDOC Week at Meningie on Monday.
Rita Lindsay Jnr. & Michael Lindsay sang “Pinyin Ngarrindjerar” (The Ngarrindjeri people are coming) . Rita was playing a “Planggi”- possum skin drum and Michael the “Tartengk”-clapping sticks. Rita and Michael also sang “Amazing Grace” in Ngarrindjeri.
