Good morning Everyone,

It is NAIDOC Week and here are a few things happening this week:

  • 10th July NAIDOC Week family event at Strathalbyn Library 10-11.30am including flag raising, traditional performance and morning tea.
  • 12th July ‘Collett Barker – The untold story’, The Creative Hub, Mount Barker Town Hall 7.30pm
  • 10th July Aboriginal Health Council of SA Open Day, King William Rd Unley 11am-3pm (dance performances, info, weaving, health checks, BBQ & more)
  • 9 July – 7 August The Taskforce Exhibition (recalling 40 years of tertiary education for Aboriginal & Torres Straight Islander People) Kerry Packer Civic Gallery 55 North Tce Adelaide weekdays 9am-5pm
  • 8-11th July NAIDOC celebrations in the Riverland (awards, lunch, art exhibition, entertainment, dreamtime stories, bush tucker) ph 8586 8700

It is also School Holidays so we have put together a few of the fantastic opportunities for kids & families nearby (see page 5) and don’t forget the Clayton Bay Family Event Saturday 13th July 9.30am-2.30pm at the Clayton Bay Community Hall.
