The Meningie Sailing Club hosted the Paper Tiger National Sailing Club races over the New Year holiday Break. There was 40 boats which took part in this event with entrants coming from Tasmania, Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and South Australia. Participants of the Paper Tiger Nationals enjoyed New Years Eve at the Cheese Factory Restaurant and are holding their Presentation night at the Lake Albert Golf Club.
The Paper Tiger Nationals consisted of a total of nine races and at the time of writing this the winner was going to be Alex Craig from NSW or Bruce Rose from Tasmania. South Australia last held the Paper Tiger Nationals in 2010 at Henley Beach.
